TALK with Jan Liljemark
One of the pioneers of climbing in Bohuslän in the 70’s. Jan started climbing at the age of 16 and did many first ascents in Bohuslän, especially at Heller. He also climbed on the Troll wall, Aiguille de Dru and Civetta. In Yosemite he took a 20 fall which resulted in him taking a step back from adventure climbing, mainly focusing on first ascent in the Stockholm area and climbing in the UK.
Today he is retired and tries as well as he can to catch up with climbing.
The theme for his presentation at Bohusfest will be ”Maybe not everything was better back in the day…” with stories from then and now, how climbing has changed through the year in Sweden and globally.
SATURDAY 19.30 @ INDOOR MAIN STAGE

TALK with Hannes Puman
One of the world’s most talented climbers with impressive performance on both rock and competition to his credit. Sport, trad, multi-pitch, bouldering, comp - he does it all. Hannes has climbed pretty much all routes in Bohuslän at this point as part of a new generation of climbers in the area. He will talk about what the climbing and scene looks like today, in contrast to how its was back in the day when Jan Liljemark was active.
